EU pet passport combi

Valid information from other documents - such as foreign pet passports - can be entered into the new EU pet passport. The condition is that previous information from old documents can be verified and meets Danish and EU standards.

Danish and EU regulations take precedence over regulations from third countries.

At the same time, minimum standards apply, i.e. a shorter expiry date in Denmark takes precedence over a longer one in a third country, but a shorter one that is stamped in a third country will not get longer from coming to Denmark.

The customer must inform the veterinarian in advance about the type of documents that need to be checked for validity.
